Everyman “Shaun” lives a mundane life on the outskirts of London but after being dumped by his girl he decides to turn his life around blissfully oblivious to the Zombie apocalypse that’s going on around him, when the penny drops, Shaun and a ragtag group unite to avoid the “Undead” in this hilarious and first “RomZomCom”.
In his first and best film collaboration with comedy partner Nick Frost, Simon Pegg stars and co-writes with director Edgar Wright to craft one of the most original and entertaining British comedies in over a decade.
Constantly playing with Zombie movie clichés and pop-culture references, ‘Shaun of the Dead’ combines dry British humour with the over-the-top nature and goriness of the American Zombie genre to produce an endlessly entertaining film with a hero anyone can relate to.
Directed by Edgar Wright and starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Kate Ashfield among others.
#TriviaTuesday: A cost-cutting insect-like suit was the early design for the alien hunter in 1987's 'Predator'—unsuccessfully worn by the character's first actor Jean-Claude Van Damme—but it was ditched for a now iconic Stan Winston design at twice the price. Money well spent. pic.twitter.com/pvbTmpgUIB
#TriviaTuesday: ‘Big Kahuna Burger’ is most certainly the fictional fast food of choice in the Tarantinoverse, appearing or referenced in 'Reservoir Dogs', 'From Dusk Till Dawn', 'Death Proof', 'Four Rooms', as well as its starring turn in 1994’s 'Pulp Fiction' of course. pic.twitter.com/k3xVsbDuA6
