The world’s biggest pop-media convention rolled into northern California on the 21st of July this year; with comic-book, Movie, video-game and TV fans amassing to share passions at geek “Valhalla”. As usual the world’s biggest publishers and media conglomerates were present to promote & sell their wares, and give us a glimpse of what to expect over the next 12 months and beyond.
With several announcements and interactive panels on show, we breakdown the biggest Movie happenings this year. Plus a little something on a certain fantasy TV show we can’t help talking about.

After a distinctly slow and predictable start to season 6 of a show which has been anything but, we feared that the show’s overtaking of the books signalled a worrying change in the narrative and execution of our favourite TV indulgence.
But we needn’t have worried as the 6th year of GoT culminated in one of the greatest season enders in TV history; propelling the story forward and taking us into the final phase of this epic story, which as producers have signalled, will play out over the next two uncharacteristically short seasons beginning next summer.
On hand for a customary Q&A panel were show creators David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, along with a bevy of Westeros stars which included; Sophie Turner, Conleth Hill, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Faye Marsay, Kristian Nairn, Iwan Rheon and Isaac Hempstead Wright, discussing the events of a memorable season and what it might mean for the future… without giving anything away of course.

#TriviaTuesday: A cost-cutting insect-like suit was the early design for the alien hunter in 1987's 'Predator'—unsuccessfully worn by the character's first actor Jean-Claude Van Damme—but it was ditched for a now iconic Stan Winston design at twice the price. Money well spent. pic.twitter.com/pvbTmpgUIB
#TriviaTuesday: ‘Big Kahuna Burger’ is most certainly the fictional fast food of choice in the Tarantinoverse, appearing or referenced in 'Reservoir Dogs', 'From Dusk Till Dawn', 'Death Proof', 'Four Rooms', as well as its starring turn in 1994’s 'Pulp Fiction' of course. pic.twitter.com/k3xVsbDuA6
