Following our ’12 Films To Watch’ lists for previous years, we return to break down 12 of what we think might be some must-see films released in the UK and worldwide during the first half of 2025—spreading the love out with two per month and only including films which have confirmed UK release dates.

The young wife of a 19th century German estate agent is terrorised by and becomes the object of obsession for a vampire who moonlights as a Transylvanian Count, who brings darkness and death to their town in this remake of the classic early cinema silent film and unofficial German adaptation of Bram Stoker’s ‘Dracula’, from the writer/director of ‘The Witch’ and ‘The Northman’.
Directed by Robert Eggers and starring Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult among others.
