In keeping with tradition the 59th London Film Festival culminated with a small prize ceremony, here are this year’s winners.
Best Film Award
‘Chevalier’

Director Athina Rachel Tsangari wins and was in attendance with stars Panos Koronis and Giorgos Pyrpassopoulos.
Sutherland Award- Best First Feature
‘The Witch’

Director Robert Eggers wins, in attendance were stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Ineson and Kate Dickie. ‘The Witch’ is out on the 11th of March 2016 in the UK, 26th of February in the US.
Grierson Award- Best Documentary

Best Short Film Award

BFI Fellowship
Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett wins for her contribution to British cinema and was in attendance alongside presenter and friend Sir Ian McKellen.
