February also saw an eclectic group of UK cinema releases; from socio-political biographical dramas like Trumbo and Concussion as well as horrors of varying quality like Bone Tomahawk and The Forest’. But February 2016 will be remembered as the month where the r-rated superhero movie became a sub-genre unto itself, with the outrageous and hilarious Deadpool taking audiences and the box-office by storm.
